As our business continues to expand internationally, we are looking for an ambitious and results-driven B2B Sales Manager to join our remote team.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the full cycle of notification and state registration of the company's food supplements in European Union (EU) countries, guaranteeing full compliance of the products with local and EU-wide regulations.
- Notification and registration: Filing notification/registration dossiers for food supplements with the competent authorities of EU Member States (EFSA, AESAN, DGCCRF, BVL, etc.).
- Formulation and dosage audit: Reviewing formulations for compliance with Regulation (EC) No 1170/2009 (vitamins and minerals); verifying permitted forms and maximum permitted levels of substances across individual EU Member States.
- Labelling and claims review: Drafting and validating packaging and leaflet copy in line with Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 (food information to consumers) and Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 (health and nutrition claims).
- Handling borderline ingredients: Assessing ingredient status against the Novel Food Catalogue (Regulation (EU) 2015/2283) and working with botanical extracts (botanicals).
- Liaison with authorities and laboratories: Communicating with EU regulators, preparing responses to their enquiries, and arranging product testing at accredited laboratories in Europe.
- Regulatory monitoring: Tracking developments in the EU regulatory landscape for foods and food supplements and updating product dossiers accordingly.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, food, cosmetics, supplements, private label, or related industries.
- Proven success in managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher), including business communication and presentations.
- Excellent command of Directive 2002/46/EC, as well as the key EU regulations on labelling, health claims and novel foods.
- A proven track record of bringing at least several food supplement products to market from scratch in a minimum of two to three European countries.
- Degree in chemistry, biology or medicine.
